Hand-in-Hand
The Hand-in-Hand program runs January through June, culminating with the celebration surrounding the DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game.
Delaware Tradition
The DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game has been played since 1956 - our Game is the first all-star event in the nation to support the same charity since its inception.
Participation
DFRC's Blue-Gold program in Delaware's high schools reaches beyond athletes by including many other students to spread our message of respect and understanding.
Diversity
All persons with intellectual disABILITIES in Delaware benefit from our mission through improvements in community awareness and understanding.
Lifetime Memories
Despite the busy schedules of teenagers today, many participants state that the memories and experiences for the DFRC Blue-Gold Program continue to impact their lives long after high school.

Both the Blue and Gold teams work toward the shared goal of spreading awareness and understanding throughout the state of Delaware, and beyond.

Through the Hand-in-Hand Program, DFRC provides the opportunity for students and families to come together and learn about each other's unique talents and abilities.
Continuing Growth
All of Delaware's high schools, even those without football programs, are invited to submit students representatives to participate in the DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game Program.

Dr. Oz announced as 2012 DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game Honorary Game Chair

The DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game Committee is proud to announce that Dr. Mehmet Oz, a 1978 Blue-Gold alumnus who represented the Tower Hill School, will be the honorary game chair for the 57th Annual DFRC Blue-Gold All*Star Football Game to be played on Saturday, June 23rd. Click for details.
